Armando Bacot With Another Big Game While Also Making Tar Heel Basketball History

Armando Bacot dominates once again against The Citadel, grabbing boards left and right, while also powering his way inside and scoring around the rim. Bacot was showing Chapel Hill that the shoulder injury he suffered recently has not much of an effect as people may have thought.

Last night, Armando became the leading Tar Heel to record double-figures in rebounds with 62 games. Achieving history for the record books, adding to his resume of accomplishments.

The only thing for Bacot to achieve is to add a national championship to his list of accolades.

Bench Production Came Up Huge

All of the Carolina fan's dreams came true when UNC's bench finished the night with a total of 42 points. This is super encouraging for Chapel Hills fans as this is the type of production we've always hoped for ever since Coach Davis's rookie season, last year.

Tyler Nickel, Dontrez Styles, Jalen Washington, Justin Mckoy, Jackson Watkins, Seth Trimble, Creighton Lebo, and Puff Johnson all contributed to that scoring tally last night.

This allows for UNC's bench to gain confidence, trust with one another, and most importantly experience in a game that'll be so beneficial later on in the season.

The Passing Was Phenomenal

Finally, we have gotten the game that has reminisced showings from last season of Carolina's ball movement. UNC finished last night's contest with a total of 24 assists as a team. Supreme ball movement at its finest that I'm sure Coach Davis just loves so dearly.

More passing, cutting, and sharing happened last night as can be seen via highlights and game film.

We're all crossing our fingers that this is the type of team performance that happens every game for the guys in Carolina blue.

Tyler Nickel Has A Career Night

After missing his first couple of shots during the game, Nickel was able to get things going for himself notching a career-high with 16 points off the bench. Draining threes, cutting to the basket, and even throwing it down in transition.

The Virginia native showed why he rose to the top as the state's leading scorer of all time in high school. Critics went against that stat due to the lack of competition he was playing though hopefully, this performance by Tyler proved them otherwise.

UNC Travels To Madison Square Garden For The CBS Sports Classic

UNC now goes back on the road to New York to face off against #23 Ohio State who has a record of 7-2 on the season. The game will be played at Madison Square Garden at 3:00 PM on CBS.
