  (Photo Courtesy Jim Hawkins/Inside Carolina)  Chapel Hill - After remaining in the Top 3 in this week's AP Polls, the North Carolina Tar Heels take on the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets (9-11, 2-7 conference) at 7:00 p.m. on ESPN.   The Tar Heels are coming off a grinded-out victory against the Florida State Seminoles, 75-68. The backcourt tandem of senior RJ Davis and freshman Elliot Cadeau carried the load, scoring 24 and 16 points, respectively. The two players have started to perfect their roles as Cadeau strives to make better reads against the defense, make better passes, and know when to hunt his shot around the rim on the drive. Behind Davis' scoring outburst, his backcourt mate, Elliot Cadeau, was solid throughout the game, as he notched 14 points, three rebounds, and three assists. The freshman's game has continued to mature slowly but surely on a game-to-game basis, turning into a strong pass-first point guard for Coach Davis in year 3 as the head coach. The game is tomorrow night at 7:00 p.m. on ESPN. UNC is coming off a gritty win against the Boston College Eagles, where whistle after whistle was called numerous amounts of times for each team. The Tar Heels overcame the foul calls and some adversity to begin the contest as they routed the Eagles, 76-66. Conte Forum tomorrow afternoon against the Boston College Eagles (11-6, 2-4 conference) looking to keep their winning ways rolling yet again.   The Tar Heels stretched their win streak to seven games after taking down Louisville 86-70 at the Dean Smith Center. RJ Davis accounted for 21 points, six rebounds, and six assists, a near triple-double for the guard out of White Plains, New York. Followed by Armando Bacot with an effort that resulted in 19 points, seven rebounds, and five assists. However, the highlight of the night has to be the contributions off the bench by Jae'Lyn Withers, as he notched a double-double with 15 points and 10 rebounds through 24 minutes of action. The game is tomorrow at 9:00 p.m. on ACCN.    The Heels won commandingly against the Syracuse Orange in their last outing, 103-67. RJ Davis was the head of the staff with 22 points, two rebounds, two assists, and five steals while shooting 58% FG and 67% 3PT through just 27 minutes of playing time. Armando Bacot continued his work on the inside, sinking 75% FG and going 100% from the foul line. This past Wednesday, facing off against NC State, the Heels won 67-54. RJ Davis shoveled the load with 16 points and 4 rebounds while making six out of 19 shots alongside four out of 10 from deep. Harrison Ingram was big-time on the glass securing 19 rebounds, a career-high. The freshman, Elliot Cadeau, chipped in 11 points and six assists for the game.   (Photo Courtesy Jim Hawkins/Inside Carolina)  Chapel Hill - #8 Tar Heels travel to Raleigh tomorrow night to battle against NC State, the only other defeated team within the conference, at 8:00 p.m.   The previous two road games for UNC have been nothing short of outstanding, considering that they took out both Pittsburgh and now #21-ranked Clemson by a combined total of 23 points through the two contests. Against the Tigers, Armando Bacot dominated on the inside, playing bully ball on PJ Hall, Clemson's top scorer, leading up to the highly anticipated matchup. By the end of the 40 minutes, Bacot had caused Hall to foul out and not return to action. Bacot finished the game with 14 points and 16 rebounds, doing so on six of 11 baskets and two of four from the charity stripe.
