Ankle Injury Was No Problem For Armando Bacot

Just four days ago, against Virginia on the road, when Bacot injured his left ankle, it seemed he would have to miss a game or so. Yet again, Armando Bacot fights through an injury and plays in today's contest against Louisville, putting up 14 points and 16 rebounds on 5 of 8 from the field.

It's truly incredible how Bacot has the ability to sustain all of these injuries he has had during his collegiate career. Emphasizing his love for playing at North Carolina, being so willing to perform in any circumstance, especially injuries.

As he said after the overtime win against Ohio State during the CBS Sports Classic, "I would die for this school."

A Tar Heel at heart.

D'Marco Dunn Provided Offense Off The Bench For The Heels

In 26 minutes, Dunn was able to put up 14 points, 5 rebounds, and an assist off the bench. As of late, Dunn has been getting a lot of minutes, providing much needed depth for the Tar Heels that will be needed come March if they want to make it to Houston

On the defensive end, D'Marco Dunn was able to stick in front of his man, causing a lot of ball pressure.

A pleasing sight as Dunn continues to find a rhythm within the offense any way possible in order to help North Carolina come out victorious.

UNC Was Active On The Defensive End

UNC was able to force a total of 11 turnovers against Louisville (Love with 5, Black with 3, Dunn with 2, and Washington with 1).

The Tar Heels were jumping the lane on passes, which eventually led to buckets in transition as well as extra possessions on the offensive end to be able to run their half-court sets as called on by Coach Davis.

This kind of aggressive defensive performance by the Heels was pleasing to watch, as they held Louisville to 59 points on the game.

UNC Makes Their Way To Chapel Hill

Another home game for the Heels in the next one as they will take on the 8-9 Boston College, who are 2-4 in ACC play so far.

The game is on next Tuesday, January 17th, at 7:00 p.m. ET.

UNC looks to keep on racking wins during ACC play in order to signify their NCAA Tournament resume.
