With the ACC Tournament beginning next week on March 12th, Coach Davis and his squad look to secure these final two contests before going into postseason mode. UNC has won five of their last six, the loss coming off a very uncharacteristic shooting performance that had Syracuse performing like the Golden State Warriors. Besides that fall, North Carolina has had a lot of gutted-out wins, including against Miami, Virginia, and NC State.
Notre Dame (12-17, 7-11 conference) stands at the bottom half of the standings, right behind Virginia Tech and in front of Boston College. The Fighting Irish are on a two-game win streak after coming out on top against Wake Forest and Clemson at the Purcell Pavilion.
The Duke Blue Devils (23-6, 14-4 conference) sit in second place, trailing North Carolina. The John Scheyer-led squad has picked up wins against Louisville and Virginia at home in their last couple of contests, riding four out of five wins.
All of the pieces needed to accomplish the dreams and aspirations of getting to Phoenix in April lay inside UNC's locker room. However, it's all about execution moving forward for Coach Davis' team to reach their potential and complete what was almost destiny two seasons ago.
