Switching on Defense was No Match

UNC's usual defensive strategy of switching defense was no match for UConn's numerous plays ran throughout the game.

Unfortunately, the Tarheels could not find an answer when needed to stop the Huskie's offensive firepower.

Coach Davis went to the full-court press as he did last time when down a large deficit to Florida State but UConn had the talent and personnel to run right through the half-court line.

Hopefully, in future games, the Heels can overcome this kind of dilemma to ultimately waive any offensive run.

UNC Could Not Convert On the Easy Looks

North Carolina had way too many looks from the perimeter and around the rim that were missed, leading to the deficit that they dug themselves into.

The Huskies took advantage on their end and knocked a three after three, exploding on the Tarheels.

These are just the little mistakes that are easily fixed, the Tarheels fought hard and should not discredit their performance against the number five team in the country.

A Long Rest Before Blue Blood Battle

The Tarheels will take on #16 Kentucky next week, Saturday, December 16th at 5:30 p.m. on ESPN.

Until then, a lot of work to be made to obtain yet another ranked win on the season.
