Tough Night For R.J Davis

As last game for R.J Davis during the second half of the final moments of the Syracuse game, while getting hit in the face resulting in him leaving the contest. It was in question whether or not he will be able to suit up for North Carolina tonight against the Panthers.

Fortunately for the Heels, Davis was able to suit up and join the starting lineup as hoped.

Though the performance was very unfamiliar for the junior guard out of White Plains, New York,

Davis finished the game with 8 points, 8 rebounds, and 3 assists, while shooting 3-15 in total from the field, as well as 0 of 6 from beyond the arc.

Surely, this will create hunger in Carolina's next outing, as Davis looks to get back on track after his recent injury.

Costly Opportunities At The Charity Stripe

During UNC's 65–64 loss to the Pittsburgh Panthers, everyone may have turned their head straight for the free throw line statistic.

North Carolina missed nine free throws throughout the game, going 13 of 22.

The big "what if" question is "what if UNC made all of their free throws?"

That is an easy answer.

They would have won.

Hopefully, the free throws will drop even more for UNC as the course of their February schedule does not get any easier.

North Carolina Turn Their Heads Towards Durham

The time has come everyone.

The first matchup of the best rivalry in College Basketball takes place this Saturday, February 4th, at 6:30 p.m. ET on the road against the Duke Blue Devils.

We all remember what happened last time around in Cameron Indoor Stadium.

UNC looks to come out with the same result in the end.
