Pete Nance Had An All-Around Performance

During a very important game for UNC, which plays a huge part of their NCAA Tournament resume in hopes of making it with the regular season coming down to its final games.

Pete Nance put up an outstanding performance, providing 22 points, 2 rebounds, and 2 assists while shooting 7-10 from the field and going 4-4 from downtown as well as 4-4 from the charity stripe.

This looks like the Pete Nance that was recruited from Northwestern, as he has not been performing as expected lately. Fortunately, arguably his best game in a Tar Heel uniform came against the #6 team in the country in Virginia.

Amazing game from the fifth-year senior out of Akron, Ohio.

UNC Lit It Up From Downtown

The Tar Heels, once again, shot very well at home from beyond the arc, totaling 46% and going 10-22 from the three-point line.

All from the help of Davis (2), Love (1), Black (1), Nance (4), and Johnson (2).

Hopefully this will become consistent from game to game if UNC wants a spot in the NCAA Tournament.

The Heels Travel One More Time Before The Regular Season Closes

Coach Davis and his squad will travel down to Tallahassee, Florida, to face off against Florida State, which is coming off a big road win against Miami.

UNC is put in another must-win situation if they want to keep the tournament chances in the best case scenario.

Despite Florida State having a record of 9-20 on the season and 7-11 in conference play, road games have not been a strong suit for UNC this season.

Here we go, Carolina fans; a big task lies ahead for the boys in blue.
