Caleb Love, the man with arguably the greatest shot in UNC basketball history in the 2022 Final Four game against Duke to put the Tar Heels up 78-74 in the final moments, has defeated the Blue Devils yet again.
This time, in a different jersey.
After three seasons in Chapel Hill, Love takes his talents to Tucson, Arizona, under the coaching of Tommy Lloyd.
The former Tar Heel knocked down crucial free throws in the final seconds to put his new squad ahead of Duke.
After the game concluded, Love was asked about the writing located on his right shoe that says "Tar Heel 4L," to which he responded, "I'm a Tar Heel for life."
Is someone cutting onions?
UNC fans are sure to be happy to hear those words come from Love's mouth despite falling short of returning the expected goals just a season ago.
Nonetheless, even though Love was wearing different colors, it is always a pleasure to see him succeed against the team from Durham.
