Chapel Hill - After a long ten years since #18 UNC faced #11 Kentucky back in 2013, tomorrow the Dean E. Smith Center will once again be covered with fans beaming in the color white as they watch their North Carolina Tarheels take on #10 Tennessee in the ACC/SEC challenge.
The Tarheels come back home after gaining two wins (Northern Iowa and Arkansas) in The Bahamas but losing a heavy contest against Villanova, who is now right beside UNC in the most recent AP Poll at #18.
On the other hand, #10 Tennessee is currently on a losing streak after dropping two very close games to #1 Kansas (69-60) and #2 Purdue (71-67).
This duel has been much anticipated coming into this season, and Tarheels are one sleep away from being able to see it all go down.
A clash with enormous hype and great attention throughout all of college basketball.
The last time these two teams faced off was earlier in the season of North Carolina's National Championship run during the Cheez-It Hall of Fame Tip-Off. #17 Tennessee, at the time, defeated Coach Davis and #18 UNC by a score of 89-72.
UNC holds an all-time record of 10-2 against Tennessee, which equates to an 85% winning percentage.
The Tarheels look to secure a win tomorrow night in front of the faithful home crowd.
UNC is currently listed at 56.8% for the matchup predictor, according to ESPN Analytics.
