RJ Davis Leads the Charge
RJ Davis was doing RJ Davis things.
Davis drove to the cup, knocking down shots from the perimeter and drawing and-1 opportunities on his defender while hitting 50% of his shots and all of his free throws, presenting his smooth jump shot all game.
This 30-point performance was very reminiscent of the second-round outing against Baylor during UNC's National Title run, as he was in full-on-go mode from the tip-off.
Davis hit 50% of his shots and all of his free throws, presenting his smooth jump shot all game.
The senior guard out of White Plains, New York, is a crucial piece of this team's success alongside Armando Bacot.
Harrison Ingram Near Triple-Double
Only six games into the season, and Harrison Ingram has already been an extreme game-changer for Coach Davis and the Tar Heels.
Ingram was only four assists shy of notching a triple-double, a stat only accomplished by former UNC players Brendan Haywood and Jason Capel.
The Stanford transfer tallied 13 points, 10 rebounds, and 6 assists, converting 50% of his field goals in the game while also playing all 40 minutes.
The versatile wing is a unique piece on this season's roster.
ACC/SEC Challenge
North Carolina will take a much-needed break before taking on the talented Tennessee roster led by Rick Barnes.
The volunteers are currently ranked at #7 and hold a record of 4-2.
This game will take place this coming Wednesday, November 29th, at 7:15 p.m. at the Dean E. Smith Center.
UNC is currently at 54.1% for the matchup predictor, according to ESPN Analytics.
